Marc van Deventer
Marc has a degree in Traffic and Transport Planning, which he acquired from the Amsterdam and Delft universities. After finishing his studies he worked as a policy advisor in the Traffic Systems Department of the City of Amsterdam. In 2000 he started working for TransTec as a consultant. In the course of his career he focussed on lightrail and safety. He is a certified Rail Safety Investigator. On a technical level Marc is an expert on route and infrastructure design, traction, energy supply, track and rail vehicles. Apart from his technical expertise his involvement in diverse projects has allowed him to develop more general skills in network design, transport planning and tendering as well. Marc combines a broad public transport knowledge base with a solution oriented approach. His analytical skills are well honed and the solutions he suggests are well thought through and guaranteed to bring the expected results. His major aim is the satisfaction of the client, which he never fails to achieve.
