Walter Brands
Walter has an MSc in European Logistics, Transport and Distribution, which he attained in 2006 in London. His thesis dealt with a comparison of tendering processes in different European Countries. After graduation Walter started working for TransTec in the quality of consultant. He has been associated with a wide variety of projects. This has proven an effective way of widening the scope of his public transport knowledge. Network design and timetable planning have no secrets anymore for him. As a true insider he has mastered the processes involved in tendering processes, both from the perspective of transport authorities and operating companies. Walter’s interests and skills lie at the crossroads of government and private enterprise. He also has a keen interest in the social aspects of transport.
