Wilco Bos
Wilco started working at TransTec in july 2009 as a junior consultant. Simultaneously he is working on obtaining a master's degree in Content and Knowledge Engineering at the University of Utrecht. He is writing a thesis on the topic of Knowledge Management at Rover, the Dutch Passenger Association.
Before he started to work for TransTec, Wilco's main focus was on Passenger Participation in Public Transport. He was one of the founders of ROCOV Utrecht (the Regional PT Consultation Body) and worked as an office manager at this organisation for a while. For three years he was a policy coordinator at the Dutch Student Union. He represented the Dutch Student Union in different PT Consultation Bodies on the national level. In the course of 2008 and 2009 Wilco worked at the OPC Foundation (a Foundation that delivers support to Regional Passenger Consultation and Participation) on projects such as the Ketenmonitor (about the quality of trips requiring a transfer between modes) and a major research project about demand responsive collective transport for special target groups such as the mobility impaired and pupils.
Wilco’s experience in consumer participation has provided him with an extensive network at consumer organizations, in politics, in government and at operating companies. His primary areas of expertise are Knowledge Management and Consumer Participation.
