Concession issues and tenders
Market competition is gradually being introduced in the Dutch public transport sector. The relationship between government bodies and public transport companies becomes more and more professional. The competition induced by tendering forces transport companies to become more creative and efficient.
TransTec supports government bodies and transport companies in the process of concessions and tenders, hereby considering both the process and the content. The projects we have carried out so far involved both drawing up lists of demands and supporting transport companies in drawing up their offers in a tender. Monitoring the quality and use of public transport is one of our key activities as well. TransTec has supported and/or carried out several complete tendering processes for regional governments.
