A decade of Marc
He can hardly believe it himself, but Marc has been working at TransTec for a decade. Indeed, he joined TransTec on the first of January 2000. Moreover he is the consultant with the longest track record at TransTec. An excellent reason for TransTec to celebrate. So on January 14th a wonderful museum tram drew to a stop on the service tracks just outside of our offices and Marc and his guests were invited for a ride through the wonderfully gloomy Amsterdam winter cityscape. After the ride Marc and his colleagues went on to an exclusive restaurant to continue the celebrations. The icing on the cake was without any doubt the wonderful present he received on behalf of the company.
When asked if there would be further anniversaries ahead, he answered: “Who knows? Working at TransTec is a challenging, at times even an exhilarating experience. With the advice I give, I have a real chance of improving the public transport system in Amsterdam and in the Netherlands as a whole. It gives tremendous pleasure to see how ideas I have come up with or that I helped develop turn into successful solutions.” At this moment Marc is focusing on the new metro, tram and bus concession in Amsterdam. He is however also looking forward to new challenges ahead. His talents and motivation could very well be the factors making the difference in your project as well.
